There's great news for everybody thinking about starting a Shopify store.

It takes time to build a successful website.
During this trial period, you should be doing the following:
1. Find a theme that's perfect for you.There are loads of free and premium themes to choose from online. Shopify itself offers free themes that you can start with.
However, it's best to pick a theme that was made for a business like yours. For example, if you're building a pet shop online, pick a theme that was specifically designed for pet shops. This gives you a great head start.

3. Make your product photos as good as possible
When your products appear in search engines, the first photo is displayed. Be sure the first photo clearly shows what the product is. Don't put unnecessary elements in the photo. Remember, when customers are browsing, they look at your photo for only a second before they decide to click or scroll past.
4. Build your audience
Promote your site on social media. Sellers usually use Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook or Pinterest. You don't have to use all these platforms. Figure out where your audience hang out and focus on that platform. This is just the beginning of your online selling business.
There are loads more to learn and it takes time to build.
The important thing is to get started.
